INFINITI QX60 offers four trim versions of a fun, small sport utility-class vehicle. Luxe and Pure SUV are front-wheel drive vehicles. Luxe and Pure SUV AWD are all-wheel drive vehicles. As a luxury-crossover, each trim for the QX60 offers a lot for the price. These are reliable vehicles with a capacity for seven passengers. Comfort abounds inside and the QX60 offers a comfortable ride as well. Many expect to pay quite a bit more for a vehicle with these luxury appointments, V6 power and good gas mileage.
Luxe and Pure trim have two levels apiece and are brand-new to the QX60 for 2019. All trims have blind-spot monitoring, forward emergency braking assist and predictive forward-collision warning as standard equipment. Additional optional safety features such as ProAssist, with lane-departure prevention, distance control assist, and other assistive technology are new for 2019.
All four trim levels have a V6 295-horsepower engine at 6400 rpm. Displacement is 3.5.1, hence the 3.5 liter, and torque is 270 ft-lbs. at 4800 rpm. The transmission is a continuously variable-speed automatic. Each has 18-inch by 7.5-inch alloy wheels. Fuel economy is almost identical. The Luxe and Pure SUV have city/highway/combined of 20/27/22 miles per gallon. The Pure and Luxe SUV AWD have city/highway/combined of 18/26/22 miles per gallon. All four have fuel tank capacity of 19.5 gallons.
For dimensions, the Pure and Luxe SUV have a lighter curb weight of 4383 pounds. The Pure and Luxe SUV AWD are heavier at 4519 pounds. Otherwise, all four trim have identical dimensions. Ground clearance is 6.5-inches. Each has width stretching 77.2-inches, height reaching 68.6-inches and a length range of 200.6-inches. The wheelbase measures 114.2-inches. Each vehicle seats up to seven people. The cargo space measures 15.8-cubic feet. Front headroom reaches 40.7-inches, front leg room is 42.0-inches and front shoulder room is 60.3-inches wide. Rear headroom is not as spacious at 38.2-inches, rear led room reaches 41.7-inches with rear shoulder room slightly larger than the front at 60.4-inches wide.
One of the favorites on the QX60 version, the side window has a bowed window frame at the back is present in all four trims. Each offers a power-operated tailgate for easier loading and unloading. The interior colors all offer graphite and high contrast wheat leatherette as choices. In addition, both Luxe trims have optional leather seats with colors such as Java, stone, graphite and high contrast wheat as additional interior features.
Exterior colors for all four trim are Hermosa blue, liquid platinum, graphite shadow, imperial black, mocha almond, black obsidian, majestic white, hagane blue and deep Bordeaux.
Bluetooth and satellite radio are standard features for QX60 Luxe and Pure, but only the Luxe have navigation available as an optional feature. All four QX60 trims have keyless ignition and cruise control as standard equipment. However, Luxe offers adaptive cruise control on both versions as well as optional parking assist. Neither is available yet with Pure trims. Roof rails come standard with Luxe versions, which also has optional premium wheels. Luxe versions have the option for premium radio.
Luxe and Pure have a sunroof, standard heated seats, leatherette upholstery and folding rear seats as standard equipment for each trim. The Luxe offers cooled/ventilated seats as an option.
